Blogger Gathering @ My Elephant

Special thanks to Precious Pea and Lyrical Lemongrass for organized such a nice Christmas Party (Blogger Gathering) at My Elephant located in Section 17, Petaling Jaya. I'm the first one who reached to the restaurant, so i start to do my work (yes, taking photo) After a while, i saw bloggers one by one reached the restaurant with their lovely gift which all will pass to Jackson for donate to the Orphanage Home. This is not the first time for me to dine in this restaurant but this is the first time for me to meet with all food bloggers and non food blogger.

When i went inside the restaurant, i saw the tables are well decorated with candles and flower. Do you noticed that the drinking glass and plate are decorated nicely with banana leaf ? Wait a minute, are we going to have Thai food or Indian food? i mean Banana Leaf Rice..hehehe :)Hmmm...there is a corner for those people who wanna dine like Japanese..You can sit on soft cushion but i won't sit at there because it's uncomfortable for me.This is the first dish served for us. Brown Rice. Why brown rice arr...? Maybe it's much more healthier than normal white rice. I prefer Thai Fragrance Rice la...hahaha :)This is Som Tam Malakor (Green Papaya with Dried Prawns with Peanuts). Well, i'm not spicy food lover, so i can't give any comment for this. Check out others blogger opinion about this Som Tam k.This is Tom Klong (Northern Thai Tom Yum with Fish Cutlets) It's a bit sour, sweet, and spicy. Honestly, it's good to have with mee hun. I didn't finish the Tom Yum because i cannot resist the spicyness of the soup.This is Red Curry Duck with Konnyaku, Avacado and Rambutan. This is Plah Nung Manow (steamed fish)This is Chillied LambThis is Choo Chee Goong (Thai Yellow Curry with River Prawns)This is Pak Choop Pang Tod (Thai Style Vegetable Tempura) , this one is my favorite dish on the night.This is Kom's Chicken Wings with Mango and Kiwi Dressing..Sorry for the blur picture. I really need to get a new camera after Chinese New Year. For dessert, we have Sago Pudding with Thai MangoesHa....I know this table lamp..From IKEA..hahaha :)See...Elephant are everywhere in the restaurant.

I'm so happy to meet with Jackson, Chris and Christine, ai wei, kampungboy and citygal, jason, teckiee, WMW, Joe, Precious Pea, Lyrical Lemongrass, Sid, Xiu Long Bao and tankiasu. You all are so sweet and friendly. If i leave someone behind, please forgive me. They are more than 40 peoples who attend to the gathering. I can't recall all the blogger name but i still can remember your pretty and handsome faces.

After the dessert, we were surprised by the organizer with an Award Presentation Ceremony.

I've won the award of "Handsome young Blogger 2007"...I really surprised by the title of the award. Honestly, i'm not handsome la..Kampung Boy and Chris are more handsome and young than me. But i have to give a BIG THANKS to the sweetest organizer given out this award to me. Awwww, I really have an unforgetable night out with all the blogger.
